Features

  • Change nozzles in seconds
  • Prevents jamming and clogs with our Bimetallic Heat Break™ technology
  • Finish prints up to 65% faster*
  • Improve print quality without reducing speed
  • Print most plastics from flexible filaments like TPU to abrasive filaments like those reinforced with carbon and glass fibers

*To maximize your flow rate, a CHT Nozzle using our new FIN Nozzle Standard should be used.

Upgrade Options

  • Electronics Preference
    • Select your printer so we can pre-install the correct electronics (heater/sensor/fan) for your machine.
  • Nozzle Type
    • GammaMaster (FIN): Experience the strength of abrasion-resistant nozzles, ideal for printing with carbon and glass fiber filaments while also handling flexibles.
    • CHT (FIN): Maximizes flow rate by splitting incoming filament into 3 strands, heating the core of the filament while enhancing mixing & boosting mechanical strength through improved inner layer bonding.
      • Note 1: The CHT FIN nozzle is more sensitive to overtorque due to its unique internal geometry and copper alloy.  Do not exceed 1.5 Nm torque when installing this nozzle.  We recommend our Nozzle Torque Wrench™, which is preset to 1.5 Nm.
      • Note 2: Cold nozzle changes should be avoided with the CHT FIN nozzle. The minimum recommended temperature for changing the CHT FIN nozzle on the Mako Hotend is 270°C. Additionally, you should aim to hot-tighten the nozzle with the hotend temperature at least 10°C above the intended printing temperature, or up to 300°C.
    • DiamondBack (FIN): Delivers unmatched durability and precision with a solid diamond tip, capable of printing any filament without wear or nozzle changes.
    • Please Note: If ordering additional nozzles, only nozzles using the FIN Standard are compatible with the Mako Hotend.
